Hello! I'm Mike Brombacher and I grew up in West University. I graduated from neighborhood HISD schools; West University Elementary, Lanier Middle School, and Lamar High School. My childhood included playing all of the neighborhood sports including WU little league, soccer, basketball, swim team, as well as camping with Boy Scouts (and I even made it to Eagle Scout).
I went to college in Charleston, SC at the College of Charleston, where I majored in International Business with a Latin American Studies minor. While in college I traveled abroad several times including a semester in Havana, Cuba, a summer in Colima, Mexico, and also experiencing the world with Semester at Sea.
But, I always came back to Houston. As a native Houstonian, I consider myself to be a Houston neighborhood expert. My deep neighborhood knowledge include the best parks, neighborhood and community amenities, and best schools for your little ones inside greater 610.
Before starting Reside Residential, I worked at a global commodity trading firm in downtown Houston supporting the traders, their analysts, middle and back office with technical and functional implementation, enhancements, and bug fixes. My years on the trading floor allow me to strive in a high-stress environment and smoothly coordinate among different teams to get the job done ahead of schedule. My goal is to provide a stress free home selling experience and be a step-ahead in all aspects of your successful sale.
Lastly, I love Houston and have lived in West U, Museum District, Montrose, and I currently live in the East End. I'm passionate about helping friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors with everything from technology to real estate. In my spare time I volunteer at Amigos de las Americas (Houston board member and webmaster), bike the MS150 (three times so far!), and Ronald McDonald House.
